FAQ

Each printing house uses different technologies and equipment, so if the product has been printed at another service provider, accurate color reproduction becomes a complex process and can be done by testing - printing proofs until the desired result is achieved. Unfortunately, this increases the cost of the project.

It will take the same as for the previously uploaded file. We will send the file for approval within 24 hours, excluding weekends and other non-working days.

We recommend you carefully review and verify the layout of the pages, design elements, and text before approving the file. If you notice any errors, please correct them as soon as possible and send us the links or upload a new file.

Once your file has been reviewed by the reprocentre team and confirmed, you will receive a notification from your project manager that the file is ready for your review.

When checking the files, note the following:

  • is the file I am reviewing exactly the one (the name must match the order number)?
  • are there any grammatical errors?
  • is the page number sequence correct?
  • is my text within the safe zone (or not too close to the cut lines)?
  • are the photos in the right places?
  • is the final format correct?
  • are the bend lines in the correct place?

After carefully checking the files, you can confirm them or send links for corrections. You must do the same after receiving (if you have ordered) proofs.

You can access the files for confirmation directly through the KOPA ftp server ftp.kopa.eu using the ftp client login program (total comander, filezila) or through the web browser http://ftp.kopa.lt/ftpgui/. The login name and password will be provided to you by the project manager.

Depending on the project, the files will be sent for approval within 24 hours after receiving them. In special cases, files are sent for approval within 3-4 hours. P.S. it does not include weekends and other non-working days.

Yes. KOPA printing house has the possibility to distribute and deliver products to different addresses. At the customer's request, packaging without the manufacturer's details can be used.

Yes, delivery conditions can be adjusted or changed if necessary.

Delivery time depends on which country the order is shipped to. Your project manager will inform you in advance about the delivery time of the order.

It depends on the complexity of the project and the amount of work in the printing house. If the order is needed urgently, ask your KOPA project manager if it is possible to get the job done faster.

After confirming the order and files, the work is handed over to the production. At this stage, the project will be carried out as approved in the written agreement (contract or e-form).

When planning a press, the project manager provides a critical file approval time for each project individually. On average files need to be approved within 24 hours of submitting ripped files. If the files are not confirmed on time, another production time / date is scheduled.

The order execution term is the number of working days during which your product is manufactured - from file confirmation to product delivery. Different processes are used during the production of each project (unless it is a re-order), so the terms for completing each order are different. Also, the production execution term depends on the load of the production capacity in the printing house, for example, queues form in the printing houses during the season, so the order execution term may be longer.

Before starting the printing process, the files are additionally checked by the reprocentre team. If inaccuracies that may affect the quality of the print are found in the files, the staff of the printing house KOPA informs the customers and gives instructions on what needs to be corrected.

Embedding fonts in the file allows you to see document as you intented. Unembedded fonts are missing some of the font information which distorts the file. Before printing, the staff of the reprocentre always checks if the files are properly prepared for printing. If font discrepancies are noticed, the customer is notified and asked to upload new files. PDF files must not contain grammatical errors. The employees of KOPA printing house do not check the texts and are not responsible for any grammatical errors left.

Make sure you send us a file that contains the CMYK color code. Converting a file from RGB, PMS, or another color model causes color inaccuracies or other visible changes. Therefore, you will get the closest print result when preparing and submitting files with the CMYK color model.

Printing house KOPA is the first printing house in Lithuania and the Baltic States to implement the offset printing standard ISO 12647-2. The color stability of the prints in the press is guaranteed in accordance with the requirements of the standard. It is also ensured that the digital proofs and offset printing in our printing house will comply with the printing in other companies that comply with the requirements of this international standard. Color deviations will not exceed the tolerances specified in the standard.

We constantly maintain and calibrate the systems with the help of professional measurement and software. Therefore, the process is stable: monitors always reproduce colors evenly and the color accuracy of the image is close to the colors of the proof and offset printing product. Because monitors use RGB color rendering technology and CMYK printing technology, some differences are possible, but they do not exceed the limits specified in the standard.

If you are preparing a layout on your computer and you are not sure about the color accuracy in the press, we recommend making a digital or offset print (proof).

To prepare the files for printing properly, read the KOPA file preparation rules. KOPA printing house accepts PDF files. Remember to use the CMYK color model and leave bleeds of at least 3 mm.
