Folded instructions make it possible to fit a large amount of information into a compact space, making them especially suitable for products with limited packaging space. A wide range of folding configurations is available — from simple half-folds and tri-folds to more complex multi-fold, accordion, and other folding options. We help assess the different possibilities and select the solution that best fits the amount of information, the final size of the instructions, and the product packaging.

When instructions are included with every product, they need to be produced and delivered in line with your production schedule. We place strong emphasis on production planning, reprints, and meeting agreed deadlines, ensuring that the required quantity of instructions is delivered on time and that shortages do not disrupt your production or packaging process.

Folded instructions often need to accommodate a large amount of text, diagrams, pictograms, and safety information. That is why it is essential for even small type and fine graphic elements to remain clear in print. We carefully control print quality to ensure that text, lines, and illustrations are sharp and easy to read, keeping the information clear even in a compact-format instruction leaflet.

Paper selection is important not only for print quality, but also for the folding process itself. Paper that is too thick or unsuitable can make more complex folding configurations difficult, while paper that is too thin may be inconvenient to handle or allow too much show-through. We advise on the most suitable paper based on the size of the instructions, the folding configuration, the amount of information, and the intended use.

We apply responsible production practices throughout the printing process – from energy use and paper selection to waste management. Our printing house uses electricity generated by its own solar power plant, while our environmental processes are managed in accordance with the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
We can offer our clients FSC-certified paper, and eligible products can be marked with the FSC or “Printed with Solar Energy” sustainability label.
