Three awards

„Printing-house KOPA won three awards at the Lithuanian Printing Industry Awards“

On December 15, the 9th annual Lithuanian Printing Industry Awards took place at the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. It was organized by the Lithuanian Printers’ Association (LISPA). Each year, this event is visited by many printers, publishers, designers, students, and teachers who seek not only to meet with each other but also to see how much work has been done over the year and what kind of innovations have been implemented.

The aim of these awards is to resound the achievements of Lithuanian publishing industry, its creativity, and ideas. Previously, the printing-house KOPA won the awards of the Greenest Printing House (in 2014) and Publication of the Year (in 2015). We are active players of the printing industry, and it is necessary for us to participate in these awards.

This year, the event coincided with LISPA’s 22nd birthday, therefore, it started with a word by Artūras Karosas, the President of the association. The guests had a good time listening to the duo Voicelless that created a wonderful atmosphere and spread some positive energy to all the participants. The solemn award ceremony was attended and the awards given by the patron of culture, Ramūnas Karbauskis, representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Minister of Economy, journalist and traveler Vytaras Radzevičius, and the adviser of the President Dalia Grybauskaitė.

After the ceremony, Saulius Mudėnas, the manager of the printing-house KOPA, gave a presentation on the trip to a Japanese printing-house organized by LISPA.

Last year, KOPA’s designer Jovita Bliūdžiūtė’s notebook “My Ideas” was announced as one of the printing products of the year. We are happy to be acknowledged in this category this year as well. This time, the project “Apart No2” was designed by French designers, however, this technologically complex product required a lot of skills and competencies.

This year, the printing-house KOPA won the following three awards:

Product of the Year – for the publication “Apart No2.”

The Most Innovative Printing-House – for innovative technologies and innovative processes in a traditional printing-house.

Knowledge Printing-House – for constant implementation of employee development and training programs.

These awards show the appreciation of the work done and initiatives implemented. It is also a big incentive to move forward and to keep the quality bar high.
